The weather may suck outside right now, but at least I’m keeping it bright & fun inside of the house!!
I noticed a lot lately that people seem to think if you’re going to do a bright and bold look you HAVE to have a bright/bold color in your crease, and that tooootally isn’t true!
You can still have a very bold look without going overboard with the products. This look proves just using only two main colors can achieve the same effect as something with a color going up to your eyebrow.

Since a lot of people are often curious how the Kryolan Aqua Colors look on their own, without an eye shadow layered on top. Misty Maven is back! This time with a faux entry to the contest I’m having.

I pulled my inspiration from the buildings meeting with the sky in the upper left hand corner of the [inspirational] photo. The colors instantly stood out to me so I went with it.
The hair reminds me of the beach, wavy/messy from being wet and in the wind all day.
Then to top it off, I added bold colorful flowers for that little Hawaiian flair.

Since I’m sure I will get asked somewhere, this video took 60 minutes to record. All around it was about 90 minutes from start to finish.

Everybody knows that the bird is the word!!!

I asked everyone on twitter to send me pictures to use as inspiration, and Tsunimee sent me a collage of pictures I couldn’t resist using at least one. I decided to use the photo of the bird as inspiration this time, and based my look off of the colors in the photo.
