Truly Truly Outrageous!

When I did Truly Outrageous! the bright bold colors put me in the mood for more bright colors. After doing this look I think I have to keep it going since a truly truly truly outrageous is needed. We’ll see about that, but chances are good it’ll happen haha! Not much else to say about the look besides it’s annoyingly bright, and hella easy to replicate. Enjoy!

Greensmoke

A very quick & simple way to achieve a toned down smoked out look. Normally when I do a smoky eye for myself I extend the color out, I love the drama it creates. But once in a while you want something a little more toned down. This also helps those who want to try smoking out their shadows for the first time but don’t want the “drag queen going to the club” look that I go for, hah! Playing Copycat: QueenofBlendingMUA

Playing copycat, and recreating a look that was done by Lauren (QueenofBlendingMUA). I used the general idea of her look to create my own by changing some things & using different colors to better fit myself. Check out Lauren’s original look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8Vwp5fbqkg . A full list of products used and a photo of the look after the jump.

When Love Takes Over

I looove this song! Well at least I did, until it was played out. Hah! Anyway… I thought it would be cool to recreate Kelly’s makeup from the video, but never got around to doing it. Then I started getting requests at the beginning of June, and still have been getting them up until now. When I searched for the video I saw that someone beat me to it, but I don’t care! I decided to do it anyway. :)

Solar System: Night Sky

Starting a new series, based on things in the night sky. So, planets, stars, asteroids, galaxies, horse-head nebula, etc. etc. For the first tutorial I’m just going right to the main thing.. The sky, a night sky to be exact. Everything revolving around outer space has to start with the sky (at least when looking at everything from here on Earth). Remember, if this is to much look for you just tone it down, don’t extend everything so far out, wear a nude lip, anything! There are many many ways to alter a look to better fit your own personal style. Just do whatever you find best fits in your own comfort zone. Think of tutorials more like we’re drawing the outline, and you fill in the picture however you want, not a color by numbers book where you have to do it exactly how it says. Thats boring! With all that said, make sure you check out the video below. :)

I posted a photo on the look, & a full list of all the products I used after the jump. Read more

Fresh Green Mix

The weather may suck outside right now, but at least I’m keeping it bright & fun inside of the house!!
I noticed a lot lately that people seem to think if you’re going to do a bright and bold look you HAVE to have a bright/bold color in your crease, and that tooootally isn’t true!
You can still have a very bold look without going overboard with the products. This look proves just using only two main colors can achieve the same effect as something with a color going up to your eyebrow.

Nocturnelle M. Ischunz

Recreating a face chart i did for the Nocturnelle collection MAC released in Autumn 2006.

With color names like, Beauty Sleep, Deep Attraction, Wait Till Dark, Night Affair, Aloof, & Passionate I think the title is fitting, yah?
The original name for this look was “Devious Nature” thanks to Doozywhoop on twitter. So thanks for the idea!!

p.s. if you didn’t catch it already, my title is like a drag name of sorts for “nocturnal emission” :D s’mooooove.
