carbonnails I got asked eleventy bajillion times in my three latest videos to do a video, or explain how I did my nails that look like fishnet up close, or carbon fibre from a little distance. Let me tell you, this is SO easy to do that a five year old could do it! I just used my Konad stamp, & image plate to get the design. With the Konad kit I highly recommend using their special nail polishes for the designs, & trust me on this! The image will show up 500 times more opaque using their polish instead of using a regular one. The only reason I used the Sally Hansen Chrome for the design is because they’re SO opaque that unlike other normal nail lacquer it works when being stamped. To find out which of your polishes work & do not, just play around with it, and have some fun! Make sure you check out wowsocool.com to get all the stuff I used, & don’t forget to mention ’sayanythingbrooke’ or ‘xsparkage’ as a coupon while checking out to get 20% off your order!

In the video you’ll notice when I did my index finger there was a part of the stamp that didn’t transfer. To fix that I just used my MAC #210 eyeliner brush with a little chrome polish to finish the lines, so the pattern looks complete!!
A lot of people recommend the ‘two sided stamp, & scraper’ kit listed under accessories. I guess the smaller side is good to use on your toes, and smaller fingernails, but I don’t have small nails and don’t plan on using this on my toes sooo yeah. I got a different set.
The image plates you can just buy on their own which is nifty. Also make sure you check out the little image next to some of the plate’s photo, that way you can see how the stamps look!

I used:

Orly Nail polish in “Liquid Vinyl”
